Unlock potential by connecting communities and empowering the workforce with trusted business development services.
Community and workforce solutions for nonprofits and public agencies. Lorrie Wick supports programs, leadership transitions, and sustainable community impact.
This work focuses on practical organizational support, informed by how programs, leadership, operations, and funding realities intersect in community-based work. The approach is grounded, relational, and realistic — shaped by decades of experience working alongside staff, founders, boards, funders, donors, and volunteers who care deeply about their mission.
Thoughtful support helps organizations move from vision and funding opportunities to programs that are sustainable, well-supported, and built to last. This includes leadership transitions, institutional knowledge-sharing, and continuity planning that respect an organization’s history while preparing it for the future.
Support may take the form of a thought partner, hands-on capacity, or interim leadership during periods of growth or transition — always working collaboratively, respecting what already exists, and strengthening organizational capacity over time.
With more than 20 years of leadership experience in nonprofits and community systems, I bring a practical, implementation-focused approach to strengthening communities. I understand how programs actually operate and how funding, budgets, compliance, trauma-informed practice, workforce development, and volunteer engagement intersect with economic stability and community resilience.
In addition to program and systems work, I offer confidential, non-clinical peer counseling support for employees and leaders navigating difficult workplace dynamics, organizational change, and career decision points. This support is especially grounded in the realities of rural workplaces and human-services environments.
This combined perspective allows me to see both the systems and the human impact of the work and to support individuals and organizations in ways that are grounded, respectful, and realistic.
Together, my goal is to help organizations design and sustain programs that work, support the people behind them, responsibly steward funding, and create lasting community impact.
